Free, one-day event brings renowned yoga, performances, food and more to the big apple at Pier 63, Hudson River Park
New York, NY (May 14, 2013) ? Wanderlust, the world`s largest and fastest growing yoga and music platform, will bring its annual Wanderlust Yoga in the City (YITC) series back to New York on June 9.? The gratis afternoon event will unite the city`s yoga community as they hit the mat with some of the nation`s leading teachers, take in tunes from acclaimed musicians and connect with other wellness enthusiasts at Chelsea Piers.
As an added bonus, Sweet Riot chocolate bars will be placed under the yoga mats of 500 practitioners in between classes.? Recipients will be prompted to open their bars at designated times throughout the day? four of which will contain a golden ticket to attend the 4-day Wanderlust Festival in Vermont, June 18-23.

There will be performances throughout the day by DJ Matthias Heilbronn and Hannah Thiem with AcroYoga by Adam Rinder and Crew.

Throughout the day attendees will be fueled by a number of Wanderlust partners including LYFE Kitchen, who will provide culinary demonstrations and a menu of chef-inspired, good-for-you meals, along with LUNA, who will offer samples of its organic, nutritional bars.? Avocado Pineapple Smoothies and Avocado Toast samples will be available from Avocados from Mexico and resource? Natural Spring Water, sustainably sourced 100% Natural Spring Water with natural electrolytes, will keep practitioners hydrated.

Haveli is a term used to describe a mansion in the Indian subcontinent where the nobles, high priests, landlords and the affluent would live and entertain their guests. The word is derived from the Persian world meaning Hawli meaning ? an enclosed place? usually of architectural interest.
On Monday, June 3rd between 5pm and 7pm, over at Haveli, they would like to invite customers (old and new) to sample some of their finest Indian cuisine from our unique menu that features both classic Indian food and contemporary cooking.
The dishes to sample include:
Naan ? Traditional Indian bread made in Tandoor oven
Lemon Chicken Curry ? with Fenugreek, ginger julienne & fresh cilantro, and lemon
Galan Jamun ? sweet cheese dessert made with farmer cheese and sugar syrup
Samosa ? like Italian calzone stuffed with potatoes and peas
Crispy Okra ? green vegetable in our spicy sauce
